From few days I have been trying to create the wordpress blog through softaculous. The result is could not connect to mysql database. Even in the cpanel Mysql status is unknown . However the mysql wizard is working. Please solve this error as soon as possible. :dunno: Its a request to whoever related, to fix the error in your mysql server. :happysad: Please review this error soon. Its true HAKATWA. I got the same error. Mysql error May be the SERVER is down. :rant2:

have you created a database and assigned the user to it? Are you using details like this:

host: localhost
database: cpanelusername_databasename
username: cpanelusername_databaseusername
password: databaseuserpassword
