Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone out there uses a mySQL client to connect to their x10 database. About two weeks ago I was using HeidiSQL fine, but for the last two or so days it hasn't been authenticating. I have included my PC in the remote hosts option in cPanel.
I am using the following details
Network type: TCP/IP
IP: 198.91.81.2
user: ampersx1
password: <my account password>
port: 3306
The HeidiSQL logs is:
/* Connecting to 198.91.81.2 via MySQL (TCP/IP), username ampersx1, using password: Yes ... */
/* SQL Error (2003) in statement #0: Can't connect to MySQL server on '198.91.81.2' (10060) */
Is anyone else using a mySQL windows client to mange their database? I just tried mySQL Workbench and with the same details it failed on "test connection", or has something changed to the way we should be connecting to the x10 databases?
