I'm not able to post a reply to someone's post in the free hosting forum--this error is shown:

vBulletin Message

driverdan, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I'm just simply trying to Reply to Thread.

Until you reach a certain post level, you can't reply to threads created by others in the Free Hosting forum. This is done to prevent "thread hijacking" where people constantly say "I have this problem too" or start another issue inside someone else's thread.

You're supposed to be able to reply your own threads only in free hosting, are you trying to reply someone else's thread?

I get it...

Never mind, I just found some other related threads that answered my question. Sorry I posted in the first place. :)

We have this implementation in place to avoid so called "threadjacking" for the simple reason it tends to make support a bit messy, hard to keep track of who's gotten help when there's a few "me too" posts in a thread. Once the problem has been sorted for the original poster the thread is usually closed up as well.
