Older backup ? <Stoli>

about a day or 2 before the whole back-up/wipe/restore process i upgraded my account
to the new unlimited adfree package.
i then created a whole bunch of new posts on my site with about 30 or so new thumbnail
pictures for each post.
after the whole restore it seems i have been put back on the old plan and all those newer post i created right after the upgrade are gone.

not a huge deal as i still have all the stuff needed to repost them.
the problem is that ..

A: i seem to have the old package (there are a bunch of 1/3's in cPanel where the new package would be 1/2's)

B:When i try to upload new thumbnails from my wordpress theme it gives me an "HTTP Error"
it was working fine even before the account upgrade.


I tried to see if there was something i could do to fix it cause i know you guys are swamped with support reqests , but it seems not possible especially with my limited knowledge.

It looks like i got a restore of everything right before the upgrade, i know you guys shut down at least 1 full day before that upgrade.So i was hopeing i got an older backup somehow during the restore.

Bottem line id like the new package and that error fixed if at all possible.

Hello,

On our database server I see that the currently active database have a data of July 25th as last update, while the backup on the same server does have one dated June 19th which would be older then what you want I assume.

There should be backups taken in between on the backup server, but I do not have direct access to that so if you want us to find and restore a backup from that let us know, but be aware that it may take another couple days.

I have sorted the connection issue for you, and your blog does now show up properly. Although there seem to be some image files missing, so I guess you'll want to get the latest set of files from the backup taken just prior to the server being taken offline.

Do you still experience the "http error" on uploading thumbnails? If so please provide the full error message as that makes it easier to narrow down the cause and sort it.

Thank you for fixing the connection error.
i don't need the newer backup if its gonna take a few days , i'll just repost so thats not a problem.
but for the HTTP Error , i can't give any more information as thats all the info i get.

i select upload from my theme
it starts uploading as seen from the % going up and hitting 100%
Then it says HTTP Error

Thats all
maybe its a problem in transferring it from 1 directory to another ?

Also its not showing thumbnails from post that have them already uploaded.
i am trying to see if anything has been changed or corrupted from my own theme folder.

Also , not sure if it means anything but when i use "View page info" in firefox all the thumbnail
image links are greyed out.

uploaded theme to another host i have and it works fine there.

Backed up / reinstalled Theme and Wordpress ... No change


i will keep editing as i find any more info on this.

Well i have done everything but delete the addon domain and remake it.
i can't see it being anything on my end.
Please , X10 Hosting is the best free hosting i have come across , but if i can't upload these pictures for thumbnails for my post i can't use it.

Could you please try now?
As for them not showing up, could you please try re-writting the permalinks, by going to that page of wp administration and just save with the same settings?

well its great that all my post are back !
But i have done what you asked and still get an error.

then i changed it to a new one and back still no change.


I even created a new addon domain
new wordpress install
new database.

same error

Both databases read 0.0 megs as if nothing is being written to them.

EDIT:
Using theme uploder = HTTP Error
Using Wordpress flash uploader = HTTP Error
using wordpress standerd uploader = 413 Request Entity Too Large

the .png picture file is not even 1 meg


id be willing to send you my account password so you could look from the inside (if you can't already) to see the whole setup if needed.You could use any random image to upload.

the file i was uploading is not even a meg big.

that and my data base is not reciving any information.
ill post a quick peek at my erroe log.

its like nothing is able to write to the database.
the 413 from what i can read on google is a server side error.
even if i FTP the picture up it won't display on my site.


id say its almost like i have 2 accounts that don't match up.
as even tho wordpress has all the post before the backup
none of the files that were set with that post are not there

Hello,

It looks like that one table (wp_ratings) is corrupted. I did check on the oldest backup we have for your database, sadly it looks to be corrupt on that one as well. It's from a plugin, isn't it? You may need to reinstall that plugin in that case.

Also could you please try and see if you can upload those files now? I have altered a setting on the server.

Thank you Anna,So far everything seems to be back to normal.
i have been able to upload my thumbnails and yes the (wp_ratings) is a plugin
tho i did not reinstall it seems to be working correctly now.

hopefully that server change you made help others as well.
