Error:
Completing sign in

Please standby while you're transferred to the hosting control panel.

An error has occurred processing your request.

*i think* password change is being reset on the web login, but not cpanel, not community support
tried resetting multiple times
tried resetting via community support
tried logging in on alternative browser (basic ie)

tried logging in directly to cpanel on port 2083
this goes authenticating.... then spits it out with "the login is invalid"

happy for you guys to reset my password and use it for testing, (or can provide credentials to an admin by pm) so you can do testing
Thanks for the help, please let me know when its back up and running :)

You cannot login directly to cPanel through port 2083. You must login through https://x10hosting.com/sso/login/

The password change for the portal is independent of the forums. If you want to change your password here, you will need to do so by going to your account settings on the forums. http://community.x10hosting.com/account/security

Further, your forum account that you're using right now is not associated with a hosting account. What is your main domain or email address?

thanks, domain (sory) is www.fuckyourspam.com needed to reset an email (more like resurrect a relic from the dark ages when the net was oh so shiny and new!)
email address is my forum username at gmail
to clarify, i did login though and do password resets
https://x10hosting.com/sso/login/

which then proceeds to communicate with c panel automatically and crashes there.

it gives "validating your credentials" then gives the error stated above

it also provides a link down the bottom (suggesting firewall port issue)
https://xo6.x10hosting.com:2083/login/

while i can access, (and tested across multiple browsers so its not a noscript/firewall issue because the page was accessible)
it appears to reject the login (which https://x10hosting.com/sso/login/ approved )
leading me to suspect that the changes to the password recovery was corrupted/not applied to the cpanel login...

it was working last night i just forgot the password and reset it (new account)

i need back in to finish off the recovery (once pinger coughs back to life) and sicne i now have a spare domain floating around a tesing lab for some *really* cool! stuff, however testing the server backend connection for stat and score collection and networking is a lot further down the path, still float on past a bit later on and have fun :)

Unfortunatey no luck same error :(
i know its not normally done, but due to one way hashing of passwords, you might actually need it, not sure what to do or where to go from here
im happy for you to nuke the entire account, ill just reset it up, or do a manual password reset

oooo i fixed it!

ok, if anyone has problems with something like this again:

recover a account, create a password with less than 7 characters
login, it will then yell at you for not having a long enough password and ask you to reset it again
reset again and whola fixed :)
