I am giving REP to those that help, if that is okay.

Site name is going to be something related to Pays Your Mortgage.

People sign-up, provide name/address/phone/zip all of that.
Person's identity is confirmed with a phone call from staff members.

The person e-mails mortgage bill editing important confidential information out.

We find what amount is needed for the mortgage. Make a page on the donation site stating the persons situation, with a paypal donation link to our paypal address for the donation to be made with credit card or any other form of payment.

A person must donate a said amount, in order to be able to have their mortgage up for donations, for that month's payment.

Site, switches to a new mortgage with the persons situation and such, until that donation amount is met. And so on...ocurring over and over again.

What "pays Your Mortgage Staff" does...or gets...

We get $ 100.00 for this service. So if a persons mortgage is $ 2,500.00 for the month, we add an extra 100$ to the amount needed to be donated. Totaling $ 2,600.00 once that donation is met, we take 100$ and send over the mortgage payment, DIRECTLY to the borrowers account or to the Mortgage Company.

You ALL may buy a home- you all can Need HELP.
You All may know someone who needs help with their mortgage.

So HELP! Please discuss what program or script or anything related to this, that would help me create a site that would do this.

Any help given would not only help me, make money, along with the staff members of this site. But would also help, the mortgagor, pay their mortgage that they are lagging behind on.

THANKYOU, for your help if you do help.

Wouldn't this depend on how popular the site is? What incentives would a person donating have?

It feels like a scam to me when you're getting away with 100 bucks regardless of the mortgage getting paid or not. I would not give any money to a system such as this. It's way too confusing to me.

It would depend on the amount of people that donate to get their mortgage paid...just a site idea...

It would be hard to get people to trust the site, and this would only be good or profitable to the one donating if there were many users for it....which doesn't happen so quickly with something like this.

Though if there was a way to get trust and have people donating some money to pay anothers mortgage that would be great...not sure if there is anything like that either.

Feel free to still discuss or close this thread please.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm saying that I think it's confusing. This idea obviously took you a while to think up but you need to work on it a little more. You're a smart guy I can tell and I'd never think of something like this.

You don't need to answer any of the following questions in this thread or even send them to me. What I've wrote here are just my thoughts concerting the concept.

The following is me fleshing out your plan in my own words:

People sign up and give you personal details. Such as name, phone number.

You call them to confirm there actually who they say they are. (This would really become a hassle if the site ever does take off. Think of a better way of doing this)

Once confirmed they say they are they are required to email mortgage info (Should probably have a form dedicated on the site for them to fill out. Stream line it for them.)

You then use the info received and in turn set up a donations page with the amount needed to pay the mortgage.

Question: Will there be an initial fee for your services?

Now comes the tricky part, community donations.

How will you handle the community aspect?

Why would someone want to donate to a total stranger in the first place?

Would a donor gain any rewards for donating?

How long will the current mortgage stay up?

What if no one contributes, will you still receive your cut of $100? (Wouldn't it be better if you had a fixed percentage instead?)

Anyway, those are my initial thoughts. Remember you don't have to answer these questions. I'd just think that you should have an honest view from an outside source of your idea. Like I said before, I like it, it just needs a little more work.

I guess calling them would be a hassle, probably have them confirm e-mail of course and leave it at that.

I was thinking of using phpFormGenerator for this...tell me if you have anything else in mind.

You then use the info received and in turn set up a donations page with the amount needed to pay the mortgage.

Question: Will there be an initial fee for your services?

How will you handle the community aspect?

Why would someone want to donate to a total stranger in the first place?

Would a donor gain any rewards for donating?

How long will the current mortgage stay up?

Initial fee for services...the only fee is 100$ from which it gets added to the total mortgage amount being needed.

So if we get a donation request for 2.5k mortgage we change it to a $ 2,600.00 donation request, and take that 100$ added extra.

Why would someone want to donate to a total stranger?...donating gives the person the ability to have their mortgage put up for donations. The more people donate, the quicker the site switches to a new mortgage up for donations.

Community aspect, I was thinking of having a forum dedicated to people who need help with paying their mortgage.

A forum that helps people in certain situations related to their mortgage. It will be a place the people who need donations, discuss their financial problems...and how to get out of it all.

The donor would get these when they do donate, and depending on the amount they donate.
1. A service that helps them get their mortgage paid.

2. Their own profile that tells people what they do, who they are, why they need help, where they work how much they make and about everything they would like to include.

3. The donors get e-books...e-books telling them how they can more money overall....e-books that tells them to literally make all the 6000 USD you owe to credit cards away...no not by paying them. The more they donate the more e-books they can receive.

4. To make people have an even greater incentive to donate. I am offering 1/2 of the proceeds we make, (the 100$ from each mortgage we get paid a month divided by 2 = 50$ ) to go towards the largest donater for the month.

5. That person also receives some publicity on the site. Banners with the person on it, saying he or she was the biggest donater. ( not sure on this part yet)

How long will the current mortgage stay up?

A mortgage gets put up for donations. When the total amount of donations equals 100$ more then mortgage amount...a new mortgage is put up for donations. And this just keeps on occurring.

A persons mortgage can only stay up once for the month. And will be placed there again next month if all the mortgage donation requests are made first. Until they get a chance to be donated to twice.

So, we put the mortgage. It stays until the mortgage amount is met. We put up another mortgage, until that is met. and this occurs over and over. The same mortgage can not appear in the same month. And the same mortgage will only appear for the next month if all the other mortgages have been donated fully to.

What if no one contributes, will you still receive your cut of $100? (Wouldn't it be better if you had a fixed percentage instead?)
It would be better if we set a percentage if we wanted to create sole profits. Since this would be a new site, I wanted to keep the price low.

If no one contributes we do not get 100$ we only get 100$ once the total mortgage amount has been met, and the mortgage has been paid for.

Anyway, those are my initial thoughts. Remember you don't have to answer these questions. I'd just think that you should have an honest view from an outside source of your idea. Like I said before, I like it, it just needs a little more work.

I wanted to answer them, it reinforces them in my head for later use. thankyou for your honest opinion and criticism from an outside source of my idea. Yes it does need more work, and yes it will need a lot more work put into it.
Edit:
So does anyone know some software that would be very useful for this...or a number of different pieces which if put together make this site work the way you think it should?
