php error log

mine was 648MB!!!

I just deleted it. Will it be automatically re created on the next error?
I couldn't read a file that size so I will keep checking back to see a smaller file and read it to see what is causing the errors.

If your error log is that big, then I recommend you read it and attempt to fix the errors it reports.

I agree, you may be experiencing performance issues, security holes, or a number of other problems with that many errors. Best you removed it to be honest, now you have chance for it to re-create again, so only genuine errors appear. This is what I personally do.
