phpMyAdmin - Error

Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly.




I get the above error when i try to enter myphpadmin and a lot of my php code doesnt work anymore even tho i haven't changed it at all since it was working fine. It has errors like this:



Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /oldindex4.php on line 1






what's going on with the php? Thank u!

Could you give us the code on line 1 in oldindex4.php?

I haven't changed the code at all since it was working for 5-6 months. Now suddenly it stops working.

So I am wondering if A. the server is just having issues? Because I have been having issues lately with getting errors on going to my sites in general and with the phpmyadmin like I said above.

or B. maybe the php version was changed on the server recently? And now my code is invalid?

If there is some server reason for the error, it might help everybody if we could see your code to see what might have changed in the server.
