PHP Mail

Hello,

i tried to send mail via php mail. But it seams that only mails to the address known by your registration system ( my registration email ) were delivered. Mail to other addresses were not delivered.

Any suggestions or solutions for this problem?

You should check in the spam folders of those inboxes, and ask if their email provided has black-listed x10Hosting. Some have, due to abusing users. (We changed a policy to prevent that from happening again)

Of course it did check the spam folders. I tried to send mails to a web.de account, a gmx account and mail accounts of three differrent domain providers. Just the mail to the register mail account ( web.de ) were received.

I also tried a second web.de account. To this account mail are delivered.

If the blacklist is the problem, I think I can not use your service :-(
It would be bad, if 50% of blog or forum accounts cannot be activated because of blacklisted activation mails.

Something odd is going on.

I have a script that, if called by cron job, delivers mail perfectly to a gmail account. No spam filter. Even if I do not use a x10hosting account as the 'From' . It works.

If I call it from the web, the mail is not delivered. No matter what I put as the 'From' .

Two versions of the script. PHP and Perl. Both exhibit the same behavior. I have tested it on my account on Boru and on a friends account on Chopin.

I have posted this before, but nobody seems to care.

I have tried to re-produce your problem on my test accounts and i have not had any success. Mail is sending fine for me and i am receiving it correctly. Are you sure your code is correct?
