I just tried accessing the phpmyadmin from directadmin,
but it wont even open, all i get it a orange pop up saying

Cannot Execute Your Request
That database does not exist

is it set up on x15 server ?

edit:

i did not have a database created at the time,
but after i made a test database in mysql management 1st,
the message went away.

is that normal ?
i recall in cpanel phpmyadmin worked differently.

Did you try from within mysql management or from the link under "Extra features"?

Though you do technically not have any use for phpmyadmin without the database created as I recall you won't be able to create them from within phpmyadmin anyways.

thanks Anna,
i discovered that after i posted, you have to create a DB first.
using the mysql manager, not the phpmyadmin.

i created an empty test DB to test it.
once i did then phpmyadmin worked.
its just a lot different than the way it was in cpanel.

Yeah, there are some things that are vastly different, even on the admin side, but once you get a hang of it it's rather nice.
