I'm having issues with browsers automagically inserting HTTPS in the URLs. I don't have a certificate on my webpage and I understand I requiore the help of an Administrator to activate this feature on my account!

Cheers and thanks!

There does not appear to be any hosting associated with this forum account.
Can you please provide the default domain of the account you need help with?

Anna, when I go to Account Manager - SSL Certificates I get a message stating "SSL is currently disabled for this domain"

Yeah, you'll need to visit domain management and enable it on a per domain basis as well.

Anna,

I have done that as per the attached image, but I still get error messages, the first is from Chrome, the second from Firefox.

Looks like you did chose the self signed certificate. You want a proper one, which you would get if you use the option on the leftmost side, a free cert from acme provider.
