Hi, week ago i received:

Your web hosting account has been suspended (fansubs.x10.mx).
Date − 2015-02-17 16:36:41
Reason − Administrative suspension.
Of course i didn't know the reason, by was suggested answers on some questions, like:
-why u think we banned u and why we should reban u.

I was disappointed and i didn't know what to write, i just wrote:
Forgot to loggin in during month?
i didn't break any rules of x10.mx
---
Ps: i made registration about 3-4 years ago and used this service like cache service for study college project "rss reader" (part of task is make cache), of course i used file_get_contents(), project consumed about up to 2mb disk space, up to 50mb bandwidth traffic/month.
---
via 2-3 days i received answer:
Hello,

Thank you for submitting an appeal against the suspension imposed upon your x10Hosting free web hosting account. We have
reviewed your account and the information included within your appeal. Unfortunately after careful consideration the
information submitted with your appeal does not adequately justify removal of the suspension. Originally the account was
tagged as explanation needed, however after investigating further I've identified that the account was specifically
designed to act as a proxy, retrieving nearly 100% of its data from an external source. With this, we will not be lifting
the suspension.

In accordance with the x10Hosting Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy agreed to upon registration the suspension will
remain permanently. This decision is final.

At this time, data backups are not available as detailed in sections 6 and 8 of the x10Hosting Terms of Service.

Best regards,
The x10Hosting Abuse Team

lol, i was shocked, when i did registration there was no paragraph about "proxy" (i can't prove it, on web.archive.org this page is absent) and don't remember that i received email about changing rules.

But i found out new:
"At this time, data backups are not available as detailed in sections 6 and 8 of the x10Hosting Terms of Service."
so i lost all my code so be carefull when using this service, it can stole u code!!! Actually for me the code was part of nostalgia of college time

Bottom line:
Please delete my acc, i more can't trust x10.mx, if they create new rules, isn't sending any mails about it and then ban you acc, and stole u code even if it has copyright protection, nice schema!!!

The account will terminate automatically in due time, we do not expedite this for suspended accounts.

As far as I can remember the proxy rule has been there a few years at least.

I'm sorry you feel you lost your code, but as you can see from this bullet point, fetched and stored from 2010: http://web.archive.org/web/20100815042500/http://x10hosting.com/terms

  • * Proxies: We do not allow any kind of proxies to be used on our servers, for any reason.

This include sites and sections of sites whose purpose is as a proxy.

Additionally, backups have always been the sole responsibility of you, the site's owner.

I'm just going to say this because I can.
...used this service like cache service for study college project "rss reader"...
If this was a college project then why didn't you back it up in the first place? Anything could happen. Believe it or not, you're responsible for where the files go.
...stole u code even if it has copyright protection, nice schema!!!
Of course X10 wouldn't steal code of suspended sites. As Anna said, it will eventually get deleted, to save space and maybe resources on the server(s) (I think these are allocated.)
If the suspended site contains copyright infringing content (such as Phishing sites) then X10 would have to get rid of that ASAP or at a certain time or it can lead to bad things.

To be honest, I don't see why you would really need to have proof that the due time exists. If you get a permanent suspension then there's no point of having this information. If you really need to know, I think it's a few days (according to what I've seen when I was reopening my hosting account with the first step being to delete the account), the account reopening happened ages ago so don't expect me to get the accurate time from memory. Plus, it could be slightly different for suspensions.

For the last part of the quote, I think you're asking what will be going with the data when it comes to the termination stage.
All I know is that the files would be deleted. I'm not sure what parts of the account would be deleted.

contains only my code with my own copyright. So now only x10 infringe my copyright and DMCA ( i forbid store my code for x10).

Closing ticket; we do not steal customer's files. The accusation that we would use our customer's files in a method other than displaying them to viewers is patently false, and I see no reason to address it or continue this discussion further.
