I created a ticket thing earlier in the week, and now I find the thread/ticket is closed... and no one answered it.

I really need to check if all hope is lost on getting my files back so, if the worst case is realised, I can just get back to work remaking my site. However, I don't want to waste my time doing so if you DO have a backup of my files.

I don't have a very recent personal backup of my site, and it had changed so much recently it would be easier to start from scratch rather that ask you to restore that one.

So please, can I get a response soon?

Hello,

Yes, there should be a file backup, the last thing we did before taking the server offline was take a full backup of all the /home directory, under which all user files are located.

I do not have direct access to the backup server, but I know that right now a copy of the backup is being placed in a separate folder of your server, once that is completed I can check for and restore your files.

I'm currently running a restore of your files, does seem to wanna take its time though.
If I remember I'll update this thread once it is done, can't say how long, but I'd guess no sooner then a few hours.
