Please Help! High Cpu problem..

Hello to the community btw

I have some problems, yesterday I got suspended, the problem was high cpu etc. It was an automatic ban..
So the question is:
How do I reduce the Cpu?

and If the admins or mods here could take a look at my problem and tell me which script is causing the problem..? That would be great:biggrin::biggrin:

What do you have installed? Is there any addon/plugins that could be the cause (cache related functions is a common cause, as they tend to need a bit of resources as they add content to cache).

Shared over 4 open processes for the same script URI your account used 89% of one CPU in one of the log entries, usage did bounce up and down a bit over the log entries, same for the number of processes.

I am personally not familiar with SMF so can't really give a suggestion or advice about that. Judging by the names of those addons I can not spot anyone that could be worse then the others on CPU/MEM usage.

Image resizer, could be one possibility, but that would logically only cause trouble when someone uploads an image that needs to be resized if that's the case.

I assume portal is what is located on http://www.gaming-plaza.com/index.php ? Is there any shoutbox/chat on that page (since it is only available for registered users I can't check), is so be aware that those are prohibited by TOS due to resource usage (mysql queries especially).

Did you do anything in particular at the time the suspension was placed, like an automated upgrade? Again, I'm not familiar with SMF and don't know if they have such option.

Perhaps someone else in the community have more experience from SMF and can give you more specific advice.
