Please install python imaging :)

Sorry to be a bother but would it be possible for python imaging (PIL) to be installed on your servers? I intend to use it to render japanese characters with a particular font. It really won't put much, if any, load on your servers. It should be called python-imaging if you're using red hat/fedora or debian.

I'll point the one in charge towards this, Corey. It is in the end up to him, so can't say whether it will happen or not.

Most often requests/wishes are made into polls, and if enough people want it, it's taken under consideration.

Hi,

You don't need to install python imaging anymore. I realised that I was completely pushing the idea of free web hosting to the limit and got a cheap vps because I also needed to run a few other OCR programs which wouldn't work on x10hosting. I love this company but it just wasn't viable for what I'm doing now.
