apart from creating new threads, why cant i reply to threads or posts at all??

Due to some problems we have had in the past forum users are not allowed to reply to threads in Free Hosting until they have achieved higher ranks and privileges. You should be able to reply to most other areas of the forums. What areas of the forum are you currently having difficulty replying to?

Are you getting Permission errors, and if so, what parts of the forums? Someone may just need to look over your permissions on the forums.

In this section, Free Hosting, the permissions is set as such that only the original poster and staff/community helpers can reply to threads.

Are experiencing problems replying in any other section?

i was trying to help someone in the free hosting area of the forums

but its cool, i understand about the restrictions, with people spamming other peoples threads with the same bit of help.
