prime member now

I purchased the prime member package.. first of all i just purchased a hosting plan with GoDaddy and have already closed that account. Its horrible for over there... its all automation. I waited 30 minutes!!!! just to create a mysql database. i had to have a unique name for every database and it was also the database name as well... horrible horrible. ive always liked x10. purchased the double all and now got the prime.

sorry! now to the real problem.. i was reading the prime forums and all the testing going on in there and wanted to respond to one of coreys questions about him hoping the permissions were set correctly.. well i cant post anywhere in there but my account already shows the infinity package.

Yup, re-reminded C about it just now, sounds like he missed my note about my test account for prime (which has the same problem so we know it's a usergroup problem); we're working on getting it fixed. Hopefully won't be too long, depends if we can find what permission is conflicting or wha.


Upshot is the highlighting for prime members is definitely working

also i think some things got a bit screwy with my account. It seems it didnt double all ontop of my double account to begin with.. i could be wrong but some of the numbers dont look right to me.

Looks like the prime membership was pretty much a replacement for the double-all; the really confusing part here though is both you and my alternate have the same perms, and you've actually got slightly more rights than me because of the higher postcount (in theory it shouldn't be doing the captcha anymore).

What's confusing is why you in particular don't have access and I do :S

well shouldn't the mysql say 6 or 8 now? because the account starts with 2 correct? then i did a double all package awhile back and we were allowed to "double all" twice so it should say more now since this would be a double all twice then?

i wish i rememberd the numbers prior to upgrading. its not a big deal because i wont use 6 anyways but it may happen to others and they might be a bigger pain in the rump.

Think it's doubling what's on ad-free infinity; the bigger concern I've got is how the heck our permissions match and yet you can't get in there to post :S

Does it give any errors other than the generic "you do not have the permissions blah blah blah" thing?

just wanting to check in about my account. from what i can see your still working on the permissions so im ok with that but what about adding prime to my double all? you wont allow me to double all twice? i wont throw a fit or anything but if your gonna use it as a replacment and not allow it then you should def mention that on the prime page. thanks guys.

Well... is there anyway i can revert back? keep the money i don't care but "upgrading" has actually crippled my account and now over the limit for parked domains etc.. and the only thing worth keeping would be the timer but it doesn't matter to me anyways since im active...

That seems fair enough, no? if not more then fair. no refund wanted..
