problem in a forum ... =(

hello everyone ..

i'm really don't know where i should put my post ..
i hope this is the right section .. =)

i had a problem in my friend site ..
he changed the domain from .com to .net ..
& he didn't join his forum with google..
then he asked me to do it ..

i don't know that much in forums ..but i tried ,
i logged to google & i but his website in google masters

and i had a message to Confirm that i'm the owner ..
so i get html file to upload it to the forum..

my problem now is how could i upload it using filezilla ..?

i don't know what should i put in the hosting or the port .....!!!!

i don't know what's the info that i need it from him to continue uploading ...

& get this message when i tried .. :


Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of borealtaiga.com
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename".
Error: Could not connect to server

For the host, it should be borealtaiga.com or your server IP, which is 216.108.239.190.

The username is the username you use to login to your host control panel.

Port is usually 21.

I just tried connecting without a username/password and the name resolved, so its working properly.

Please clear your DNS cache and try again.

Your host should also provides additional information on how to login to FTP in the control panel.

I could not solve the problem ..maybe there is
something wrong when I wrote the hosting
I wrote it in this way : www.websitename.net
Nothing before it .. !
Is it right ?

Also I had 2 user names the 1st 1 is the firewall
& the 2nd is my friend user name ..
Which 1 I use ?

You should be using your cPanel username and password to log into FTP.
