problem with phpbb3

I uploaded two new styles with filezilla, but for some reason the images for 'new topic', 'post reply' and 'edit' do not show so no one is able to post new topics or reply or edit their posts. Is this because of my upload settings or what?

either you have not uploaded them or they are incorrect in the configuration file for the skin. (In the imageset config file, may say something like new_topic.jpg instead of new_topic.png or something similar)

i have them uploaded and the names match in the config file

Have you cleared the cache? Delete the content of the cache folder, but leave the .htaccess and index.html file

You should check the image folder. If it doesn't appear it means that the image wasn't found
