First of all I want to say hello to everybody. My account was setup really fast and everything is really fine, however I have a problem (probably described, but I have problems with answers for that solve media thing :)).

So I bought a domain name and yesterday I changed nameservers at my registrar control panel to ns1.x10Hosting.com and ns2.x10Hosting.com and everything was fine. I could enter the site couple of hours later. After that I decided to go and change the MX records in my domain registrar contol panel, however I couldn't enter that panel. I wrote to customer support there and they said that I have to keep their nameserves at all time and just to change something different in dns panel. they returned them to default and I cannot enter the site. So my question is what I have to write there if I want to use my own domain name and use that hosting here. If it will help I see a lot of fields for A record - builder.cp, cp, domaincp, ftp, mail, ns1, ns2, webmail, webmail.cp, www. Also there are CNAME, MX TXT, SRV records and so on. And the control panel is BPanel 2.0.

Or if it will be better I will change my registrar but with who?

Thanks for help in advance!
It's really confusing, so far I used just the nameserver but probably that is a problem with registrar.

You should have told them to leave the nameservers set to those at x10hosting.
You can do your MX records from cPanel here.

Ok I will leave the settings for x10 hosting but I won't be able to access the domain control panel at all. It is just giving me error if I do that!? I already did that. (that solvemedia is killing me :))

Who's your registrar? If they give you a control panel and allow you to change DNS, it makes no sense to take away the control panel if you change the nameservers.

BIRCHHOSTING.CO.UK and that is the exact message (with errors) and I don't understand nothing from it:

"Ok so whn the dns option is back you set www. to your ip and "" to your op and * to your ip then you need to setup the mail server so mail to your ip really easy use the same ip all the way down. DO NOT REMOVE domaincp ns1 or ns2"

---------- Post added at 02:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:51 AM ----------

Will it be ok if I just type the x10hostig Ip adrress in the www Field for A record or I have to do it with park the domain and just put my domain name on top of the x10hosting free name?
I really need help

you'd have to use the IP for your server. You can see what IP that is in cPanel, in the left hand menu there'll be information about the shared IP.

To get the domain to work, you'd need to attach it to your account. One way to do that would be to park it in cPanel. With this option it will show the exact same content as your current main domain does. Another option is addon domain, useful if you want it to display a completely separate site.

Thanks for the answer. Just to make it clear for me - I have to put my shared IP address in the www field for A record in my domain control panel and just create an addon domain here with the same name? will that be enough? Sorry I am not very familiar with this:redface:

Yes, that will be enough. If you want the domain to work for both with www and without, make sure they are both set to the IP.

At my registrar there's an option that says "sync with domain.com" that I can use for any subdomains I create, so if you have that, make sure that is set for the www subdomain of your domain if you want both to work.

Really thank you for that information. I will just go and try that - i will put the ip there and will see after couple of hours. Will I have to do the same and for the mail - put the same IP for mail and webmail field or just edit directly MX records through cpanel.
I dont have that kind of option in my control panel (for subdomains). Actually I dont have and a lot of explanantion there that why I am asking for help here.

Thank you very very much. Great community, great users ! :)
