ftp: either net2ftp.com/surftp.com (at work) or CuteFTP (at home) as you can edit inside the application and reupload with ease.

code: notepad - who needs anything else?? :p

gfx: adobe photoshop CS - I try not to put too many images on my sites to make it easier for mobile phone surfers :)

My website is managed mainly through Notepad, and FileZilla. I also use cPanel when needed as well.

FileZilla client, Photoshop CS3 and Notepad++ (sometimes PSPad)

I use to test on Firefox with 'Coral IE Tabs' extension, so I can change between Firefox and IE engines very quickly and see compatibility.

I currently use SciTE, FileZilla, my friend for the graphics (he uses gimp, because he's too lazy to learn photoshop's interface). I use firefox with IE tab for the browser testing and XAMPP as my home server.

hey i see lots of people use notepad
you guys are my heros

i began writing in notepad also

i now use "Notepad2" which gives me color references to dozens of scripting languages

i tried notepad++ but its too bulky and slow

i want slim and fast

for uploads i have only ever used the student edition of WS_FTP95
which granted i agree i should upgrade to something modern and lightweight

for images i have always used paintshop pro, i owned version 5 for an entire decade then got PSP6

please not PSP7 its bloatware...

i learned html in 1997 and began writing my first webpage in 1998 i took that site down in 2001

in 2007 it was back to the books and i got several on CSS, XHTML, and used W3C.org for all reference

through 2007-2008 i began re-writing several of my pages to accomodate CSS/XHTML standards

now im dabbling in the XAMPP setups and php/mysql ETC

info enough to feed your brain?
