Hi, I apologise if this is not the correct forum for this question.

In the terms of service, it states that file sharing sites are not allowed.

I am developing a site that will allow users to upload and download files as part of a university project. This site will not be accessible to the public (users are required to log in) and I only need the site to be hosted for demonstration purposes. Only a small number of files (less than 10) will be stored.

Would this site be acceptable?

If not, then I will look for another host.

If your account doesn't only used for file sharing purposes and account has a main site then its ok,

Sharing your username and password of you cpanel is not allowed here...

If you are planing to develop user management system and user will able to download or upload, that will be OK

Of course the files you share, needs to be yours to distribute (or you need to have permission to do if from the owner/creator).

As long as it's not only about sharing/storing files it'll be just fine.
