Really slow and can't connect to the DB

My website http://www.nightearth.com has not worked fine since last week. The Main page (which is almost static) loads really slow. However, other pages such as http://www.nightearth.com/top.php , which use SQL, have connection errors (maybe caused by timeouts while connecting, or some other issues?).

I don't see any mention to those issues in http://status.x10hosting.com/.

Your website's homepage appears to be loading swiftly at this time. Are you still getting these slowness issues, or have these since been resolved?

I also took a look at your top.php PHP script, and it seems that your script is trying to connect to a MySQL database on a different hosting provider (starting with "mysql1."), not us. Please could you check your database connection details, as we don't support remote connections on our free hosting.

My bad! The database configuration was wrong, and I didn't notice because I changed it after the new behaviour of the DOCUMENT_ROOT.
Now everything works perfectly. Thanks a lot!
