whenever i try to recover something from the trash it doesnt recover.. in the window on the top right it just shows 3 dots ...

can i have someone recover it for me like an admin or something?

Which panel/ program are you in when you talk about "trash"?

i was using legacy file manager when i moved it to trash, now i cant restore it (index.html) and i never empted the trash bin

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have to enable the viewing of hidden files.

Then your file should show up below the trash can. Click on the file to restore it.

Edit : I can't see where to enable the viewing of hidden files within the program.

You get the option when you first open the Legacy File Manager.

But if you're in it now, & close the Manager in order to re-open it, will it empty the Trash Can? Risky! :eek:

the file isnt hidden though, i scan see it its just whenever i click it it doesnt restore thats why i want to know if like someone of a higher level can access my account and recover it for me, i oppened a ticket

OK, yes they are the best people to help. But you may have to wait a long time because they have a lot of tickets to get through during the current server upgrade work.

Have you tried using the (non-Legacy) File Manager instead? If you delete a file in there, is it recoverable, as it should be, from the trash folder?
