I've had my free account deactivated and removed, sadly while I have been in hospital. It was not ready to go live so it's not too much of a hardship to go and recreate it all I expect in wordpress as I didn't take a backup but I have most of the source files.

So, I signed up again yesterday - the account came on line instantly as expected with x10, and I logged into cpanel and created a wordpress blog which it happily configured successfully on softalacious.

However, I've still not been able to access it some 16 hours later, which I'm a little surprised at - as my previous experience was almost instant in every respect. So, is that a normal occurrance, I've seen postings saying to wait 24 hours - but it seems very extreme for what appeared a successful setup. I'm wondering what is it that it needs to wait for - which job is waiting to action?

I am of course assuming that its setup correctly?

Hi chojinka,

I can see your WordPress blog fine at your main domain name. If you're still having issues seeing your website, please could you try clearing your cache and flushing your DNS?

Thank you,

Thanks Dead-I, that does appear to be it as I now have it working on one machine. A few other machines still cannot see it after flushing the cache but they appear to be using a different DNS resolver which hasn't yet updated itself, at least that is my theory. Thanks again - onto the task of rebuilding :)
