I have started a WordPress blog about chess and I'm still using the default theme, but I would appreciate any suggestions that can already be made.

I've spend some time to get the post about the 1001 checkmates working, but now it seems to work.

The main page is Chess Improvement and the most recent post shows another example of my attempts to publish a replayable chess game on this blog.

Being slightly more serious, it is a nice idea for chess puzzle / tutorial site and very well executed.
Loved the Chess clay stop motion video, though not wild about using the You Tube embedding.

Does seem a little biased towards Playchess.com, however no harm in that. After all you have to start a blog someplace.

I'm a little puzzled by your remark about using the You Tube embedding.
Do you suggest another kind of embedding?

Here's a quick and dirty demo. Same video being shown on one site but data coming from another. All the benefits of embedded content for the main blog site and no adverts.

Since the original post more content has been added to the site.
Maybe more comments/suggestions about how I can further improve it.

I also changed the title from Chess Improvement to Chess Adventure, which I considered more appropriate.
