I am unable to adjust the header swf on left side, when ever i try to do so, it shows nothing. Suggestions are most welcome

There's a problem when viewing the page on 1680x1050px resolution cos your many, submenu and search box are not centered like the rest of the site breaking your layout. If you don't have that resolution available juts zoom out the page in your browse and you'll see.

You need to check the css and home page code to place the elements properly.

General sense the website is good.

Use "margin:0 auto;" to center elements on the page.

By the way I recommend you make separate .css and .js files for your CSS and JavaScript code instead of putting everything in your HTML file. It's always good so separate layout, style and scripts so you don't end up confused every time you need to change something.
