If you have XP it should be "plug in and play" which mine was.. And then if you want to set up some security on it, it's not hard you can download the guid off the internet for any router.. But yea mine is a wireless and I just pluged it in and it worked!Woolie said:Yea what he said ^^^ but also... Wireless??
I spent ages trying to get my wireless router working, whatever happend to "Plug n Play" :runaway:
I've never had to open a port unless I was hosting a server for a game, or like TS somthing like that.dharmil said:you cant do plug and play all the time some times you might neeeed to open ports for some programs with a router...
Thats true, But he talking about setting it up like just getting it working if I'm correct.dharmil said:yeah thats what i am talking about i said for some programs and some game servers are programs
Well first make sure everything is pluged in for sure.. Next it's not just going to pick up the signal the first time. You need to make sure the wireless card is installed.. Next go to your connections and go to wireless double click that should pop up click refresh network list then it should pick that up then double click on that signal and it should connect.randomtalkradio said:Ok i have done all that. But it hasnt picked anything up. Also one of my connection plugs are unplugged it says.
