run out of disk space , how can i increase it?

I am trying to upload more files to my account, but just found out I ran out of my space (512.17 / 512 MB) ,
can anyone tell me how to increase my account disk space? many thanks ​

Had you looked for Sticky Thread before posting you would not ask. You should look for http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/173837-account-upgrade-policy.html and http://x10hosting.com/forums/news-announcements/172734-disk-space-policy-change.html first then ask for acount upgrade if you feel you meet the requirements. Please note there is http://x10hosting.com/forums/news-announcements/178584-terms-service-changes.html explanation of non upgradable exceptions.

thanks for the answer, i checked the policy already..
I dont have own website, I am a web designer, I am trying to find a job, that's why I need to upload my Protfolio.
My design works including some multimedia stuff so 500MB is not enough for me....
any other way for me to get my space increased? thanks

If your website complies, then you can get additional disk space. Did you actually read the topic?

Unmetered Requirements
- Account must be one week old
- You must be using at least 500MB of your storage space
- You must have a working website online that falls inline with our terms of service

If you meet the above requirements just open a support request and a community support representative will upgrade your account.

I see.. Your topic name should had some 'account upgrade' notion then because the only way the user can increase the space is to delete something of non value. Al least leave a proper post for adminstration here that you requesting the account upgrade just dont leave them guessing.

Click on the top topic on the forum 'open support ticket' - this should take you to your own account portal, which will have another button saying 'support' with a menu item 'create ticket' - click that. Hope that helps.
