Well if its a nulled script then the site will be down when cory runs some scans. If the site lasts longer then 2 days im guessing its not pirated...

Can you explain us a little more about your site rune-coders?

ZapZack no need to ask such questions. People have their reasons for doing things. I may have bought VB without a domain if a .co.cc was serving me fine or maybe his DNS transfer is taking long... maybe the people he baught a DN from suck like some that ive heard of and will take a week to have it ready.

Administrators do not do the scanning; this is done automatically by our server. We search for all illegal software in the same manner. Having a nulled copy of vBulletin is not the only way you can be suspended. Any software that is nulled or has been illegally acquired is not permitted to be stored on our servers.

Sorry for my dumbness when it comes to piracy but is "nulled" another word for cracked or riped, ect? Don't worry I dont have any illegal software on my site.

"Nulled" software means that paid software, such as vBulletin, Invision Power Board, WHMCS, etc, have been modified by a user to no longer "phone home." Software reaches out to a server (like Adobe products connect to activate.adobe.com) and make sure that everything is in order.

Nulled software has been modified not to do this, so it usually cannot be tracked by the company that owns the code. It's basically like making your computer not be able to connect to activate.adobe.com so that it can't check if your license key for a product is valid.

Although the same terms also apply to simply stop software from checking if a disc is in the drive.

Long story short, yeah it's another term for cracked (as in cracking the protection so it no longer is protected, but the software still functions.)
