and why on earth would you assume this?!! It is apparently quite likely that they were African.

Besides, all the race arguments are different, because all races can have children naturally, but for two people of the same sex to have children, they must adopt/use a surrogate/sperm donation etc. They could not do it alone.

in my opinion its better for a child to have same sex parents, where they get the love and support of two people, than for a child to only have one parent.

I disagree with this, sometimes one parent is better than two (gay or not). Society has ideals which are never actually attainable, and much of the time, are not necessarily any better than the current situation.
