Hello sir, I have a little problem with your x10 hosting server. I have created an x10 hosting account on 2nd January 2011. My username is “tutulbl” and my email tutul242010@live.com. My package is “adfree-infinity”. There was everything is fine, but when I changed permission to ”777” to the some directory in my “public_html” folder, server shows 500 error message. I want to create a blog so, my website contains dynamic php files. I need to assign “777” permission to my selected directories. Please help me sir. It’s very urgent. Thank you for providing me your free hosting service.
“X10 hosting” ITS ROCKS!

Php files should typically have 644, while folders should have 755.

Only in some rare cases would you ever need to have 777.

For security the server is setup to not allow the use of 777 on any files/folders that are accessed directly in the browser, having that set will result in a server error.
