Server Selection during account creation

Just curious, when a new account is created, how is the server it get's created on selected?

There are so many servers it seems like load balancing the accounts must be a nightmare.

I don't know how the selection is made (perhaps someone else can answer that).

But as far as I understand it, all accounts are currently in the final stages of being moved to just 2 servers (hence the downtime problems over the last couple of days).

I think Server are selected sequentially ... I mean 1st user on absolute 2nd on cossacks and so on till again come absolute

I believe the servers are selected by whichever one has the lesser amount of users on it. Who knows though.
