Resolved Server time appears to be off (ahead) by 3 to 4 minutes - revisted

On May 22, 2020 I posted the following:

Server time appears to be off (ahead) by 3 to 4 minutes

A couple of days later (May 24, 2020) the server clock was synced/resynced and the post was declared "Resolved". 67 days later, I noticed that the server clock was out of sync by 1 minute and 40 seconds and it was noticable ("schedule" as opposed to "publish") as stated in the initial post. 79 days later, it is now (1 minute and 58 seconds) as seen by below:

Difference......: 0:1:58 (h:m:s)

The clock drift appears to be approx. 1.49 seconds per day. Any assistance in getting this "Resolved" would be greatly appreciated!

not that i ever checked the server time in comparison with the world clock,
but id assume its something to do with the servers you are calling it from.
or the script is not coded to show the exact time.

i use the time and date script but i dont have it down to the seconds.

in your other post you mention your machine being of accurate time...
ive never known of a machine to keep the exact same time.
they always vary and need updating.

most windows machines have an option to auto-update the time,
if you dont update you will lose time.
thats just my opinion.

It's weird to not have the NTP service enabled. This appears to be a problem if the server is not using NTP and is in a virtual environment, which is probably the case with x10.

I'm going to flag the admins to see if they can enable NTP. It's going to be an issue eventually once it accumulates enough.

According to head admin there should be an automatic sync, though I did run the command to force a sync again so hopefully it is ok now.

Yesterday (8/19/2020 11:35 AM PDT), I received an email of your reply and, roughly, 5 hours later I checked/read said email and then checked the server time for x15 and it was ahead by 2 minutes and 11 seconds. I decided to wait 24 hrs (essentially, after UTC 12 AM) and then check the time difference, of which is shown below:

Date............: Thu Aug 2020 09:14:04 PM EDT
Time Zone.......: America/New_York
Host Name.......: x15.x10hosting.com
Host IP.........: 198.91.81.15
Host Time.......: 09:16:16 pm

Remote Host Name: worldtimeapi.org
Remote Host IP..: 52.50.142.159
Remote Host Time: 09:14:04 pm

Difference......: 0:2:12 (h:m:s)

So, now the time difference for the x15 server is 2 minutes and 12 seconds ahead.

I would have thought so this is the case. These days all machines are synced once a week. Even my Windows 10 desktop is doing fine these days!.

How do you check the time of a remote server? Can you give us a command to run on a windows system?
