Server Time zone???

Hi there I have a Joomla site and when I was reviewing the settings I come across one called Server time zone. I'm in time zone GMT+0, and the default setting was UTC+0, but what time zone is the lotus server in. Do I need to change it, will it affect anything?

Hello,

I do not believe that Joomla's "time zone" setting is related to the server. I think you can put in your own option anyway.

If you wish to know the timezone of servers, then please look at the following link for Stoli:
http://help.deadi.x10.mx/time.php
Chances are that the date and time is the same on all servers. :wink:

Thanks! I have set the time to GMT+0. The stoli server does seem to be a few hours behind where I am, but so far it hasn't effected anything! Maybe lotus is different. Thanks anyway!
