Signup queue broken or a scam?

So the Sign Up Processing queue started at 150 users ahead and about 300 minute wait. Every minute since queue has INCREASED. After 30 minutes "in queue" it now sits at 187 signup requests ahead, and 392 minute wait time. ??? Is it actually that broken, or just a scam to push X10Premium? Hoping it's just broken, otherwise looks like the free site is just a total scam as the 'wait time' and 'queue' simply increase every minute.

Are you still experiencing this issue? We've found nothing wrong with our system, and I just did a test signup and it was created immediately. You may have been creating an account during an especially high-traffic period.

Thanks for reply! The timer seemed bugged here, constantly increasing. After 24 hours the account magically appeared, so looks like it finally worked in the background. Was getting worried and frustrated watching the queue constantly growing, but it all worked out.
