I'm wondering whether Boru Server is having problems this morning cause I seem to be having trouble loading my website, both the Joomla and phpbb forums show this message when I try to load them:

The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later.

The two softwares are completely seperate so it can't be and error message from them

---------- Post added at 12:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:26 PM ----------

I also just got this message:

Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

neither domain seem to produce proper DNS records, and co.cc doesn't produce a whois for them, so you may need to contact co.cc for support.
Otherwise the main and sub domain both work just fine.

I just added the co.cc domains so they won't show up in the DNS record yet and as I'm sure you know that it'll take up to 48 hours for DNS records to show up, I was trying to access the site from the main domain this morning and couldn't access it. Its working now but its extremely slugish and I occasionally get MySQL disconnect errors.

its not my internet cause its only my website where I have problems. So could somebody look into why the server is doing this, cause I wasn't the only one having issues this morning.

Currently, it will take a lot longer than 48 hours. You have the nameservers set incorrectly.

The nameservers are

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

Thank you I didn't have them right, but thats not problem.

Forget the co.cc domains. I didn't have the co.cc domains set up when I originally posted this thread, I was using aniradio.elementfx.com when I was recieving the errors, I know what a domain error is and it definatly was not a domain error. Database connection errors area not caused by a bad domain. Now unless I hear something else other then my co.cc domains I'm closing this thread and opening a new one.

My original problem was connecting to my site from any domain... not just my co.cc domain and I wasn't getting 404 error so it wasn't a miss configured domain. I've been having trouble and have been recieving database disconnection errors on my site. Thats what I want help with.

Hello,

I am not seeing any database errors on your forum, can you please provide a link of where you're seeing these errors?

I wouls love to try to reproduce the errors but they only happen periodically, I got the error when I was updating phpbb and had to redo the update and I also get the errors in Joomla CMS, ussually some thing like this:

Unable to load module: connection to database lost (ussually and error code will be shown after that)

The next time I get the error message I'll be sure to post it.

Ah yeah,

I'm aware of the problem you had now. The database errors you're seeing are caused by users abusing the server. They're usually suspended pretty quick. Also due to the large demand on our MySQL services they periodically drop the requests. We're working to better provide a stable solution for this and apologize for any inconvenience. If you see these errors please report as much information as possible so we can determine where it may be caused from.

I'll be sure to report anything I can

I also noticed that sometimes, yesterday morning was a good example, when I went to load my website, it would sit loading for 5 or more minutes then I'd recieve a message that appears to be sent by the server simply telling me the page is unavailable, please try again later. I imagine this also has to do with users abusing the server but I was just wondering.

Also, this doesn't really have anything to do with my original problem, but is Boru Server having Domain issues again, cause I tried to change my main Domain earlier today and when I got back on about 10 minutes ago to check the status it said there was an error, it deleted the error message when I tried to resubmit the request or I'd give you the error code. Right now its just sitting there pending.

That temporary unavailable error message is most certainly related to abuse. The problem with our free-server setup is there is so many users that choose to abuse their accounts since they don't pay for the service. We try our best to monitor it and police it. Most of the time the issues are resolved pretty quick. Especially helps when users like yourself post issues letting us know that way it doesn't go unseen for a couple hours. We appreciate that greatly.

As for the domain change issues, there has been some known issues with our backend system causing domain changes to not work correctly. If you'd like your main domain changed please provide the domain you wish to change to here and i can do it manually for you.

Thanks Jarry, I'll remember you whenever I have any other problems. I wanted my main domain to be my co.cc Domain aniradio.co.cc its currently aniradio.elementfx.com. I'd really appriciate it.

I said I'd report any errors I got, well I just got this one, about the same as the errors I ussually get. Joomla reported this error while trying to install a component

Hello,

Could you please provide times and timezone you're in as well so i can work out some exact times its occurring

Time Zone: GMT -5 (Eastern TIme, U.S. and Canada)

Ussually starts in the early morning around 5 am and is ussually cleared up by 12 pm. I have noticed it on a fairly regular bases cause I stay up late a lot and into the early morning. It'll be working fine one minute then when I go to refresh or in the case of the last error message I posted, I try to install something to Joomla, I'll get database disconnection errors.

I would have posted sooner but my internet was out all night >.<

Thanks for this information. I'll further be looking into these issues and seeing if we can rectify them.
