Site slow to load... is it me or the server?

Any pointers why it's slow to load? Or is it the server?

I've noticed pages and support files (*.css, *.js, etc...) taking upwards of 3 - 5 seconds each.

At first I thought it was due to me updating some of the files (via FTP). But it's been like this for a day or two now.

Completely unacceptable.

This is probably due to a number of things.

You have some PHP errors in the script which are probably slowing down script execution. (In your other thread).

Once those are fixed, it should speed up.

You can also try minimizing your javacsript and css.

I agree it has been slow since I had nothing on my site this morning to now, when I have a bunch of html files and a forum, no change in speed :/
