site was deleted?

I dont know why my site was deleted. I last logged in on Oct 29th. it's not a big deal since I was still setting up the message board. why was it deleted?

In any case I suggest giving it a bit to see if it's just some weird glitch.

Otherwise you should be able to get all files back through R1 soft backup. (though I can not provide an answer as to why if they in fact were deleted)

all the files in the public html folder were missing. so if its a server reboot, than that's fine. thanks.

Looks as it was not caused by a server glitch as they are still missing. You should be able to get them back through r1soft backup.

Have you by any chance deleted the files in the folder www? It is a common mistake to assume them to be separate folders but they are in fact just mirror of each other, kind of like having one as a shortcut for the other.

I think it would be a good idea to change all your passwords just incase someone hacked it. did you notice a different IP address logged when you logged into the cpanel?

Im not sure if there is a FTP log.

yeah, i just noticed the ip address is different. unless that was the mod that logged into my account? it's not a huge deal since i was still setting up a message board.

I'd say it is likely that a mod checked in.
I often do when someone has trouble, so I'd even say it most likely was my IP you found.
