Hi there,
My site appears to be back now, which is fantastic. It's just loading really slowly. I'm guessing this is just a side effect of the server migration?

I don't think the migration is 100% complete yet and the status page doesn't say its completed yet. I know my site is up and down like a whores draws. Fingers crossed, it won't be long now! ;)

XO2 and XO3 are both under quite a lot of stress from ongoing migrations, due to the changes that are being made, as well as the fact each cPanel account transferred has to literally be re-created from scratch by the cPanel daemon before the data is transferred. This should clear up once the migrations are fully complete.

My website is slow too http://onlythebestoftheweb.x10.mx/. Also i dont think it affects you because you have prime account gcscfort

for your slow Website...
wait until the hardware upgrade and migrations are finished - the Admins will announced when they are finish on [ http://status.x10hosting.com/ ] - until then - they are still underway - there is no estimate of when they will be finish
###
as for prime accounts they are on the free-hosting servers

The slowness is caused by the migrations, each account needs to be uploaded, unzipped, restored, etc which requires a lot of resources. I know because when I restore my own VPS, it takes up most of the resources to download and upload and unpack all the files necessary.

Whats the cheepest hosting that gives me a real web domain?
As far as I am aware, if you sign for 2 or 3 years on x10Premium, you get a domain for free. You could always, however, just buy a domain from a domain registrar and point it to your free/paid account.

But you have to pay for a prime account, Right ?
A very small amount, yes. The main purpose is to essentially "upgrade" your free hosting package, if you need more databases, etc but don't want to pay for full Premium.
