I think I know the ages of a few, i think one of the account managers is 14, and i am pretty sure Starshine is 31 or so. So the ages vary from young, to older... Which is quite good...It makes it feel like a more open and accepting environment no matter what age you are. =]

It seems that the staffing ages varies from really young to just adults. Like someone mentioned, this is a good thing because there are people in the staff that really could represent some parts of the community.
Though, the staffing shouldn't so much worry about the ages of the individuals they choose to hire, but rather, the quality of the work and effort they put into being in this community. Age is simply something people use to immediately judge someone else. Take me for example, I'm 13, but I'm not one of the individuals that act dumb and post in ridiculous language all the time. On the other hand, there are people who are 50 years old that break the laws and seriously can't get a grip.
It really depends on the quality someone may put into the work they do on the forum.

Well in my personal opinion, leaders shoold be chosen NOT by their biological age BUT their maturity as a person. I mean hey, the two of us are in the same age bracket and yet I keep my forum(wrestlesomnia.com) in order as much as I can. But there is such thing as 'Experience comes with Age' on the other hand

Seriously, what Mr. Kennedy said is totally right. I used to run a chat portal, and outsourced the chat to an IRC group where the old man on the staff was 20. And they did a GREAT job. Totally professional.
And a lot times, younger folks are better at it, anyways. They are doing it more for the fun of it, than just going thru the motions like us old geezers sometimes tend to do...and so they put more into it. And if nobody had asked, we wouldn't know...anyways. We'd just know about the work that was done, and that's always been solid.

Brandon being 15 will teach most of the older users how coding is done. He is very intelligent with Computer languages. So that is true age doesn't matter a bit, it's how well you handle issues that come up and the ability to solve the issues by having the know how.

I agree with you kennedy, in that experience comes with age but you could live to be 100 but be completely inept at the job because you have never done it before. Speaking from personal experience I joined the local volunteer state emergency service about a year ago now (Any one from Australia will know about the SES), and in the last year, just by going out and performing the various tasks in the field I have gotten experience that I would have never gotten otherwise. If you wish to become a staff member or even to help them out now and again, no matter you age, apply, PM one of them (at the moment it's Corey) and let them know. The worst that will happen is that they will say not right now.
