sql server name?

Hey im trying to setup a x10hosting forum. I uploaded smf forum and im at the install i created my sql database but what should i put for database server? my site is a co.cc site. The error i get is

Cannot connect to the MySQL database server with the supplied data.

If you are not sure about what to type in, please contact your host.
Access denied for user 'smf'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

For the server, all usernames and database names are preceded by your cPanel username, and an underscore. (leafy_)

For example, my information (w/o real information) could be:

Server: localhost
username: leafy_somename
password: ******** (this would be JUST the password, not username, underscore)
database name: leafy_somedatabase

sorry i found out what was wrong i was doing the wrong username password i think because i did the generate password and i was doing the password i usually use but now it works thanks.
