I do not know how to make the board SSL but I can tell you that when visitors go to your Web site, they'll get an untrusted certificate warning because you cannot have a SSL Certificate on Free Hosting.

mmh, dont really helps me...

If i want to open my webspace with https:// in front of the url firefox just says: "ssl_error_rx_record_too_long". no matter if i try it with the phpbb or an empty folder.
Do i have to enable the ssl function or something like that?

I think the post is saying to go to the admin panel and choose to use secure cookies, and then it should automatically start using SSL.

just did it, no ssl :(

just change out yourserver to your server name, and cpanelName to your cpanel name.

same error like before, thanks to the https. The url to my cpanel is http://stoli.x10hosting.com:2082 (i found it in the memberarea of x10hosting). The cPanel works but i cant find anything about ssl there.

It's the ssl version.

I am heading off to school, but you can leave posts here and I'll answer them in about 8 hours.
