stoli - 500 internal sever error on CGI program

This is a CGI program that has not changed and was working correctly earlier Friday.
It is at http://bcs.x10.bz/cgi-bin/db and currently, calling it causes a 500 error.
There is absolutely nothing in the error log - as viewed via cPanel

Same problem on Chopin. But it seems to give a 500 error on a blank.txt file too. Trying to get a Staff member to look into it.

also notice that public_html had been changed (by what?) to 750; modified permissions to 755

I think public_html is 750 by default. If you FTP in, you can see that it has a different group (99) attached to it. That is the Apache server ("nobody").

CGI is temporarily disabled on the free servers.

Incredibly, CGI was (according to others) disabled without any advance notice, and there is still no official word on the reason or duration of the suspension. Why wasn't this change put in the Announcements forum?

We don't know. We haven't really been told -why- it was disabled, just that it's been disabled. I would assume that it was an emergency.
