Well, isn't the server already all burnt and crispy and not burnable? Might as well let SoftLayer get it after we burn it
If you put gas on something, it'll burn.
Well of course I know that. What is SoftLayer going to do with that burnt server though?

Oh trust me, Corey will do more than set it on fire, well... actually i'd think Brandon would like to try C4.... I don't blame him.
On June 1, 2008 at 4:55pm CDT, electrical gears shorted in a data center which caused an explosion and fire that knocked down three walls surrounding the electrical equipment room. No one was injured in the accident. In addition, no customer servers were damaged or lost.
Initial reports from ZetaBoards included the following:
This is a significant outage, impacting approximately 9,000 servers and 7,500 customers. All members of our support team are in, and all vendors who supply us with data center equipment are on site. Our initial assessment, although early, points to being able to have some service restored by mid-afternoon on Sunday. Rest assured we are working around the clock.
There had been no impact in any of the other data centers.
