Just to make sure, I can't just login to the cPanel, I have to login to these forums every 2 weeks?

yes, you need to login to the forums regularly. Recently the two week rule were extended to 31 days though.

logins to cPanel does not count in regards of activity in this case and neither does logins to your account panel.
