All of a sudden my account gets suspended: The restriction is due to a substantial link discovered between your account and another with a history of abuse activity.
I for a fact know there's nothing stupid going on in my behalf, it's a simple forums for a very small community. I would like this fixed asap please.

Please refer to the last post in your previous thread over here: https://x10hosting.com/community/threads/mysql-ip.200202/

What was said to be stored on your account would be illegal as that forum software requires a paid genuine license and what you apparently have would be a modified version of the forum software that would bypass the genuine license check using some method (AKA nulled), making it work without any payment towards a genuine license.

I would chat on about this but as @Livewire said, you should really be disputing this via the client area. That way, it would be more private and you would be speaking to those who have the ability to dig in to the account.

Was on my phone at the time, Unable to access or see much. It's already public and i'm not hiding anything, A backup would have been nice or at least an hour warning to take off the "Illegal Software". I lost a lot of time and put in a lot to just have it go quick like that.

Alright. Well, the issue is this:
When you registered, you agreed that you had read the terms of service, especially the section in regards to illegal material. I believe this would fall under copyright infringement? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, the terms of service also states that if your account is suspended, they cannot provide backups. This strongly applies to illegal material as this would be an unlawful thing to do. (X10 would then be hosting the software for download which would be ironic if you think about the suspension reason.)

I understand everything, Not denying anything at all so no need to explain everything that's happening. I'm more worried about losing everything rather than being suspended.

by your account being suspended for the nulled IPB install - you lost "everything" (i.e. databases and files)

Ok, That sucks. As i said in my other post, A warning could of been useful. And is it really a suspension or a shutdown?

Someone mentioned not too long ago about this attitude..

As this is a free service, giving a warning in this case wouldn't be the most appropriate action.

The first paragraph of this post would refer to what one said about users having "nothing to lose".
Platforms that cost nothing to the user can be abused easily because... you aren't going to lose a dime from it, right?

Being able to dispute is probably the closest way of getting an account back after a suspension.

But really, I wouldn't be surprised of what would happen as a result of this if it does turn out to be illegal material that was intentionally put up for free use.

There's no attitude here, I'm stating my opinion. I'd prefer a warning before losing the content i had. But, It's understandable. It's a free service so no need to complain. And I keep getting Referred to Disputing via client area yet no one links me.

IMO - it is a "shutout" - with the new rules you will not get a free-hosting account

see --> [ https://www.x10hosting.com/sso/login ]
There is a problem with your request
Access to your hosting account is currently restricted. The restriction is due to a substantial link discovered between your account and another with a history of abuse activity.

If this is a mistake please get in touch at our Community Forums for a resolution.

That comes up, So i'm unable to do anything at all.

Hi,

There is a nulled copy of Invision Power Board on your account, which is why your account was suspended. Please bear in mind that IPB is not free software, and if you do not have a legitimate license, we cannot allow it to be hosted here.

I'd prefer a warning before losing the content i had.
Sorry, but we can't provide warnings for suspensions like this. Hosting nulled software is illegal, and by granting a "warning" to the user, we would be breaking the law ourselves by allowing this software to be hosted. We also cannot allow you to download a copy of your files, since we would be distributing illegal content.

Thank you,

The things i need have nothing to do with the Ipb, That can be completely removed and everything would be fine.

Hello,

By hosting an illegal copy of Invision Power Board, you have broken our Terms of Service (Section 1: Server Usage). The relevant parts have been included below.
Illegal Material: This includes all copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State, or Local regulation. You may not store copyrighted Mp3s or videos on your webspace in any way shape or form.
Warez: Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking, IP spoofing, etc... This also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.

By breaking our Terms of Service, your account was permanently suspended, as per Section 7.
If an account is suspended for a breach of the Terms outlined above the account holder will immediately forfeit all rights to the account in question including access to any and all files and\or databases located within the account. x10Hosting is under no obligation to provide backups in full or in part to an account holder that has been suspended.

Since you do not have a legitimate IPB license, your account was suspended, and you will not retrieve your files back, completely or partially.

Since I don't see this thread going anywhere, I'll close it here. Your account will remain suspended.
