I got suspended for high memory usage. Here is the message :You have been suspended for high system resource usage. Accounts are suspended for usage when they are detected to have consistently high cpu usage, memory usage, or process amounts.
How can i keep wordpress from not using so much memory or resources?

Well, to begin with, are you using any WordPress plugins?
Some are known to be resource hogs.

It could simply be due to enough traffic to cause high resource usage. It could also be a one time deal due to you doing something in the admin panel. Were you doing anything at the time?

That's probably it, i was roaming around the admin panel and it kept freezing, next thing i know, suspended

I had a look and the suspension is from installing a plugin. During the plugin install it used a large amount of resources causing you to be suspended.

oh, lol also, how come i always get "error establishing a database connection" it happens like daily for about a minute and then comes right back.

The mysql server is under a lot of stress from some of the abusers; it tends to drop connections if it's getting hammered until the abuser gets caught, which is actually what the high resource usage scanner helps to do

The downside is it sometimes catches legit sites in the crossfire, which is also why it's not a permanent suspension.
