If you are suspended and you wish to find out the reason, go to your Account Information Panel and go to Hosting => Suspensions. For inactivity suspensions you can use the AIP to send an automated unsuspension request after logging into the forums, while other suspensions will require the assistance of a staff member to attempt to resolve it, or your account may have been suspended permanently for breaking the TOS.

AIP: https://x10hosting.com/control

Main thing is, login to the forums once every thirty days and make sure you READ and FOLLOW the terms. Good luck! :)

Some of the highlights:

1. No phishing. Even if you are "just testing" or doing it "for educational purposes". If you put up a fake Facebook signin page, you are gone.
2. No warez, nulled scripts, copyrighted material or links to them. Just think about uploading a "no cost copy of vBulletin" and Livewires "precog scanner" will catch you and suspend you.
3. No shell scripts. No torrents. No email bombers. No "forge email headers" scripts.
4. No file hosting, ie, this is not Photobucket or Dropbox or a backup for your harddrive.
5. No porn or adult material.

Yeah, for content restrictions I highly recommend reading Section 1 of the Terms if you can't be bothered reading all of it.

Pretty much the most summarized explanation is don't do anything illegal and you're fine. You should still read the TOS though.

By placing an order via this Web site on the first day of the fourth month of the year 2010 Anno Domini, you agree to grant Us a non transferable option to claim, for now and for ever more, your immortal soul. Should We wish to exercise this option, you agree to surrender your immortal soul, and any claim you may have on it, within 5 (five) working days of receiving written notification from gamestation.co.uk or one of its duly authorised minions.

We reserve the right to serve such notice in 6 (six) foot high letters of fire, however we can accept no liability for any loss or damage caused by such an act. If you a) do not believe you have an immortal soul, b) have already given it to another party, or c) do not wish to grant Us such a license, please click the link below to nullify this sub-clause and proceed with your transaction.
just kidding

Unfortunately, some of the things that are illegal in the US are not illegal in other countries. So by telling people not to do anything "illegal" , you are sending a different message to different people.

Also, file hosting and torrents are not illegal, but are against the T.O.S. because they are not what the Free Hosting accounts are designed for.

That doesn't make sense.

I'm thinking he is asking for someone to activate their account(s), which may have been suspended since this is a thread about suspension :shifty:

If that is the case, bruno should be able to find out how to resolve the issue within their control panel. In the case of long-term inactivity, you may have to make a new website & username if the site was removed--as is the case for me.

However, he shouldn't be spamming that message around the forums.
He should create his own support tickets, read the wiki and search the forums.
The Account Information Panel even tells you the status of the account (ex. Process Wait).
