Hi

Please, would you like to investigate my suspension reports? For some reason my website was suspended a few times within very short time. it was usually 4 days. The last suspension occurred on the same day (26/10/2009) I unsuspended the website.

The suspension reports always says:
" You have been suspended for inactivity. It is a requirement that you login to the x10hosting forums once every two weeks to keep your account active; posting is never required. This is an automatic suspension, you're able to unsuspend yourself immediately"

It says once every 2 weeks. What's wrong?

Regards

You'll be happy to know that the time has been upped to one full month now. If you have a problem still, post back and I will have a staff member look into it.

If you are suspended for inactivity and unsuspend yourself without logging on to the Forums, the system does not wait 14 days (soon to be 31 days) to suspend you again.
It looks and sees that you have not been logged into the Forums for X days and immediately puts you in the "to be suspended" queue.

Note that it is the forum (here) that you need to login to keep the account active.

A common mistake is to login to cPanel and/or Account Panel only and think that will be enough to keep it active. It is also common that a user requests their account to be unsuspended through account panel, but doesn't login to the forums at the same time. Since account panel doesn't reset the timer, the account would be flagged as inactive again on next check if a visit to the forums are not made prior to or just after the unsuspension.

I'm not saying this applies to your case, just pointing out a few common reasons that can cause suspensions to occur seemingly too often.

Another thing worth noting is that very short visits may not be properly logged by the system.

As garrettroyce says, the period within which you need to login is being raised to a month (31 days) meaning the script will check if your last login was less then 31 days ago.

As has been said, ensure you log in to the FORUMS every 31 days to keep your account active.

Note: when unsuspending, log into the forums first, then unsuspend, or you will immediately be reinserted into the suspensions queue, as you would still show as not having logged in.

Hope this helps :)
